Rift-S headset not detected

I have a Oculus Rift-S headset. I've downloaded the MetaQuest Link software and installed it. My PC motherboard is Asus P6X58D Premium with 24GB RAM, Intel Core i7 930 CPU, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080. I have made sure that I am up to date on all Windows patches and up to date with my NVIDIA graphics drivers. When I start the MetaQuest Link SW I see a message that says my PC does not meet the minimum requirements even though it does. I've removed almost all other applications that may cause a conflict. I've uninstalled and re-installed the MetaQuest Link SW. I've rebooted. I made sure I that I'm plugging the USB cable into a powered USB port. My headset is still not being detected. Is there something I'm missing? Are there any logs available to troubleshoot this problem?

  • Hi, were you able to solve this issue? I am having the same problem with my Rift-S. The MetaQuest Link tells me my PC does not meet the requirements, even though it worked perfectly fine a couple of months ago. The application also force closes itself within 10 seconds and then reopens 10 seconds later just to force close itself. It does this forever unless I uninstall the MetaQuest Link software. It is very frustrating that I can not use the product I paid for or get support for it.
