Right controller won't pair with Oculus Quest/App not working

My right controller recently stopped working (wouldn't power on), so I got a replacement that does power on, but now it won't pair to the headset. I have tried removing the battery, restarting the headset... still nothing.

Google says to use the app to pair the controllers, but when I select Headset Settings nothing shows up. I have tried reinstalling the app, but same issue.

I tried to reach out to Support through the Help Center, but it says my account does not have a device associated with it and I cannot search through my headsets serial number.

Is there a way to pair the contoller? If I can't pair the new controller, is there a way to fix the original one?

      thanks for that.. I had not been able to find that, just kept going around in circles
