Sound problem in my pc after use my oculus 2

Hi, I was doing stuff with the oculus link and when I stopped playing with the helmet and when I unplugged it, I had no sound on my computer. I tried a lot of things but it didn’t work. please help m...

    Thanks for you help and assuring message. I couldn't attach logs here because attachments with .zip extension are not supported. However, I have solved the problem, just going to leave my steps here in case anyone on the Internet stumbles upon this thread.

     

    One of the how-to-solve " no sound after using Oculus / VR in Windows "

    I realized that the sound is delivered via USB Type-C when Link is connected. So the driver of the USB 3.1 was still using the sound even after VR uncoupling. I had to uninstall the USB driver, reboot the PC and scan for hardware changes in the device manager - that solved the problem immediately, however I wish this could be fixed for Oculus because now I am paranoid to connect my headset via Link and need to create a system checkpoint prior connecting the VR.

I ran into this problem when trying to us my meta quest 2 for car x drift racing on my friends PC, I was able to get the audio back but I'm not exactly sure how but I know that I searched through all the audio devices and found system sounds in the oculus section. I only used the USB type c as a last resort and I think that's what changed the audio to the oculus so if you do try to use it again just try air link on the meta instead of the cable. The main thing that did it was finding where system sounds were and going into the audio settings to delete what the system sounds moved to and then find your main audio output and change it to what ever device you use for audio. This is just me trying to figure it out but it seems I was able to do more than other people on this thread so I thought I would say something.

Also to find where system sounds are on the PC, right click the volume icon in the bottom right of the task bar and go into volume mixer and look through all of those.
