Still can't connect via usb link

Even with the latest update that assured us that it was now fixed, I still can't connect via link. It no longer stays in an endless loop with the meta logo and the 3 dots below it, however when it dips down to the next part it turns black and completely freezes. Has anyone else had this problem that has found a solution?

So far I've tried a complete factory reset on my quest 3, uninstalled and reinstalled the meta horizon link app, tried disabling both my ethernet connection and wifi on the quest, and blocking the inbound and outbound firewall exceptions. Nothing has worked for me, and I'm out of ideas.
