Stuck in USB update mode

Hello, as the title states, my quest 3 is stuck in USB update mode, with none of the suggestions online working to restore any functionality whatsoever.

Quest has been working fine up until today (I primarily use it when racing in VR).

I am on a work trip and figured I'd bring just the quest, so I had something to do in the hotel.  Well, now I don't.

RMA seems to be the only option?

  • I am writing to follow up on my case #08687775 regarding my bricked Quest 3.

    To date, I have not received a viable solution. The repeated offer to replace the unit is not a workable option for me, as I am unable to return the device to an official service center due to my location.

    Therefore, I am reiterating my request: please provide me with a recovery image (ROM) for my Meta Quest 3.

    My question is simple: what is the difficulty in providing this file? I am technically capable and willing to attempt the recovery process myself. This is the only feasible solution for my situation, as a physical replacement is impossible.

    The serial number of the device is 2G0YC1ZG46039H.

    I look forward to your prompt and specific response regarding the availability of a recovery image.

      Hey man.

      That sucks.  I assume you've sent messages to them, where a real person emails you? 

      Hopefully they can help you out... The problem mine had, I had no way to even sideload anything onto it.
