Stuck on Mobile Pairing with Code Number

Just purchased Meta Quest 3, a week ago, for the love off me, i factory reset and this thing has a mind of its own with showing back up with stuck on mobile pairing screen with code when i at first was originally pairing to my desktop.

Any help on getting rid of this screen to Default back to Menu Screen would be appreciated.

    We came across your post and would love to lend a hand, if you are stuck on the mobile pairing screen you will need to have downloaded the Meta Horizon app on your phone.

     

    You can find the app on either the Apple App Store or on Google Play.

     

    Ensure phone and headset are connected to the same network, on the same frequency.

    Ensure that "precise location" and "nearby devices" permissions are allowed for the Meta Horizon mobile app by checking the phone's settings.

     

    Then log in with your Meta Account, and from there you should be prompted to enter a pairing code.

        Hello Sorry late reply,

        All i did was as i already had the code given to me upon trying to install to the desktop instead of desktop for the mobile meta application, so when i read that the only way to unpair the meta quest was thru the mobile by unpairing it after installing the Meta application having to use your 5G wi-fi and Bluetooth to pair to you meta quest headphone. so, once that was done, which as of yet i haven't unpaired it as i was just happy to leave the way it is for now working fine also watch YouTube on it movies etc.

        Make sure you Meta Quest Headset, is fully recharged and started fresh, Once you install the Met Application on your mobile phone or Tablet which i use and have the 5g connected also Bluetooth turned on, it will show to choose your headset by picture, once you tap your model showing it will search to connect to your headset, then your model will show only, as it has recognized it. Put your Headset on and the screen will come up with a tutorial on how to use. just follow it.

        i hope it not confusing what i wrote here, if you get stuck, let me know, i am not sure on your side what has occurred😁.

  • I am only posting here as I cannot find a way to contact Meta directly for support.
    I have had a quest 3 for about 16 months. Worked fine for the most part. Sudden;y went black with fan running. Hard reset fixed that but now it wouldn't connect to BT headphones. Did a factory reset (headphones and headset). 

    Now the **bleep** headset won't pair with the meta horizon app. It asks for the code to pair during setup but won't pair. I can see my headset details with serial number on the app. I can't seem to delete it and set it up again. I've uninstalled the horizon app and reinstalled it on my phone, still no fix.

    When I try to go through Meta's godforsaken 'help centre' ('help' my arse) it just keeps bringing me back to the support links and when I put in my headset serial number it says that isn't recognised. Nor is my email address...even though I log in with that same email.

    Anyone know how to simply contact Meta!? Like, actually phone them, live chat, or email contact????
