Temporary workaround for “Horizon Link not working / can’t connect” (USB-C)

Hi, I found a temporary workaround for Horizon Link not connecting.

If you urgently need it for development like I do, try the steps below while we wait for Meta to fix the issue.

Workaround (worked for me — both USB-C Link and Air Link were failing):

Disconnect your PC from the internet (disable Wi-Fi / unplug Ethernet).

Navigate to:

C:\Program Files\Meta Horizon\Support\oculus-client\

Launch client.exe manually (do NOT use the desktop shortcut / Fixer.exe).

After starting it this way, Horizon Link connects successfully.

(Optional) Reconnect the internet after the connection is established.

Summary: If Horizon Link suddenly stops working, try starting it offline and run client.exe directly from the install folder.
