I have a 3s and want a quest 3 as well so I have 2 headsets .I paid almost 300 for the 3s so dont want to pay full price for a quest 3 as well . Would I be able to get a quest 3 headset only off ebay and use my 3s controllers and charger etc from my 3s ? Can yous help what exactly I would need . Is it just a quest 3 headset and battery .

We've just come across your post regarding inquiring if you would be able to use the controllers of your Meta Quest 3S if you bought a Meta Quest 3 headset. We can confirm that you would be able to use the controllers when using a Meta Quest 3S or Meta Quest 3. Also, you would be able to use the same charging cable with both headsets.

If you can get a complete Quest 3 set for a good price, you should consider buying that instead of only the headset.
You said, you want keep the Q3s and although your controllers work with Q3 and Q3s, you need to unpair them from one device and repair them to the other device every time you switch the headset.
Also, if you have two headsets, you can play together with a friend or family member...... if you have controllers for both headsets.

If you have a Game XChange in your area, check there. I was able to get a used Quest 3 with controllers on black friday for $300
Beware there are some scammers selling Q3 headsets on ebay etc that are stolen, so Meta have remotely disabled them, and they cannot be reactivated. Basically they buy the headset new from Meta, then after it is delivered, they report it as lost in the mail and get a refund. Then they resell it and take your money, and the headset suddenly gets blacklisted.
