So, recently I had purchased a quest 3S. The headset is great and I've been having no problems with it aside for the fact that I can't seem to pair my quest pro controllers with it. When will the pro controllers become compatible with the 3S so I can stop using my Quest 2 to maximize the 150 dollar purchase I made on top of buying a new headset?

I understand where you are coming from, and at this moment the Quest Pro Controllers are not compatible with the Quest 3S.
There isn't any specific timeline, but it could be possible that there may be an update in the future that'll make them compatible.

THIS ABSOLUTELY NEEDS TO BE A THING IF YOU ARE GONNA MAKE A HEADSET THAT HAS ABSOLUTELY DOGWATER TRACKING FOR THE CONTROLLERS THAN YOU MUST NO IFS AND OR BUTS ABOUT IT HAVE TO HAVE THE PRO CONTROLLERS BE UNIVERSALLY COMPATIBLE WITH EVERY QUEST HEADSET AND FUTURE HEADSETS THAT WONT HAVE ENOUGH TRACKERS ON IT

Why. Why can every other headset use them besides 3s. They are your pro controllers made for your highest top of the line headset but isnt compatible for the 3s although compatible with the 3 and the lesser version in the 2. Whats up with that.
Recently bought a 3s headset after already having a quest 2 and pro controllers. Other than just simply wanting an upgrade I wanted to use my pro controllers with my headset, hopefully this is added soon.
I too agree a simple update could solve this issue, otherwise the quest pro controllers are rendered COMPLETELY useless for a large percentage of customers such as myself and countless friends. I love the products meta but I believe this update is VERY VERY necessary.
They need to add this update ASAP like come on, you can’t just make a headset and not make it compatible with other controllers when the controls you provide are very bad,
any way they can trick you into spending money... especially wasting money... they will. Every quest headset runs on the exact same OS. The reason the controllers don't work is simple. They don't want them to. They turned the feature off. All they have to do is switch it on. It all works exactly the same. They just turned the feature off. It's borderline illegal.
I AGREE! I hope that they do add support for the quest Pro controllers so they can work with the quest 3s because I have one.And the Quest pro controllers and it sucks that I have to replace Batteries every time the controllers get low So I'd like to use my rechargeable controllers with my better headset please...
This is absolutely absurd. i have a quest 3s and had purchased the pro controllers for my quest 2 whenever my controllers gave out, and now i've had a pair of useless paperweights sitting on my desk for over a month. screw meta for this.
Do you still know if the meta pro controllers work with meta quest 3 s

I just got my pro controllers today and can’t get them to pair at all so looks like I wasted a ton of money like many other quest users. I see videos of people doing it with the quest 2 and 3 but none with the 3s

There's usually a return period(up to 30 days, this may differ) within you can return/send back items.
So, if you just bought the controllers a few days ago, this is probably the best thing to do.
Experiencing the same issue. I hope that this will be added in the coming updates to the 3s. This is a veeeery bad thing that there's no compatibility to other controllers seeing how the quest 3's controllers are not exactly user friendly in the way they track.
