Wifi Connection

No wifi network pops up when I try to connect to wifi after factory resetting. Can't erase any old wifi and even if I tried to turn on the wifi option it doesn't work. Could I please get some help?

    Hello there,

We understand you are unable to connect to your WIFI after a factory reset on your headset. Sometimes it can be tricky connecting fresh devices to a WIFI network. As your WIFI is not showing on your device, please try connecting using the Meta mobile app instead. To do so, you can follow the steps outlined below.

    1. Turn on your headset.
    2. On your phone, open the Meta Horizon app.
    3. Tap Menu at the top of your Horizon Feed.
    4. Tap Devices.
    5. Select the headset you want to change Wi-Fi settings for.
    6. Tap Headset settings, then tap Wi-Fi.
    7. Tap the new Wi-Fi network you'd like to connect to and enter the password if prompted.
    8. Tap Connect to Wi-Fi.

We hope this has helped and you can once again see and connect to your WIFI. If you are still having issues connecting, please follow the steps below to contact us privately, so we can give you some more detailed and tailored assistance with your issue.

Thank you for your fast reply.

It can be tricky to diagnose a WIFI problem, so we would need to ask you some additional questions to get to the bottom of your issue and give you the best possible support for your issue, as well as possibly some account information, which we cannot get in a public forum like this. As this is the case, we would encourage you to contact us privately via the steps below.

        Thank you for asking.

If you could please answer as many of the following questions as possible, so we can give you the best possible troubleshooting available that would be extremely helpful.

        • Can you tell me what geographic region you're in? For example: Asia, North America, Europe, etc.
        • What kind of Wi-Fi router do you have and what version of firmware is it running?
        • Are you trying to use a specific Wi-Fi network that only operates on the 6GHz frequency band?
        • How far away from your Wi-Fi access point is your headset and is it in the same room or a different room?
        • Have you seen any error messages when trying to connect to the Wi-Fi network? If so, what was the message?
        • Could you please provide the serial number of your headset? For help in locating the serial number, please click here.

Once we have this information we can assist you with your specific issue in detail. We look forward to your response.
