Wireless play to pc without wifi

I've been looking around and searching and i just do not understand why meta hasn't gone and made a dongle for pc vr users to have a lag free connection to their pc, because we all know how unreliable Wi-Fi is and how expensive it could be too, but not only that, they are just parts of the world that just don't have good Wi-Fi at all like Alaska for instance, i have many friends who still live in Alaska and the number one issue and thing they hate about the quest is the only option is Wi-Fi, which i honestly don't even think Alaska has got Wi-Fi 5 let alone wifi6. i feel making a dongle similar to how the cable of the index is, (have a usb 3.0 or usb-c to connect to the motherboard to send info back and fourth to the headset and pc then add a display port cable that will take the video out put straight to the headset), allowing no other things to effect playing. with Wi-Fi it can only be so good and when everyone come home from work and get on the internet you gaming isn't going to be as nice, so maybe this will spark  a idea for meta, that way they can grown their player base and also just finally making a good headset for once, if i was able to have a pcvr only version of the quest pro that would be so nice, and also not having to use that terrible meta app as it takes up way to many resources, not trying to bash meta, just trying to give them some ideas, because right now it doesn't matter how many cool or unique features are added to the headset, until they make a headset that can wirelessly connect to the pc and not by Wi-Fi and ensure a reliable and stable connection, i will not be using any of their products as well they aren't worth it

You clearly don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about.

Absolutely clueless. I hereby rest my case 👨‍⚖️.

  • The average WiFi speed in Alaska is around 250mb per second. Also here is the official state of WiFi 6 availability in Alaska.

"Wi-Fi 6 technology is available in Alaska, primarily through local internet service providers that offer modern routers and equipment. However, availability may vary by location and provider, so it's best to check with specific ISPs in your area."

So, I concur with the opinion of steve_40. You don't have the slightest clue what you are talking about. NB. It also makes no difference.

The OP is confusing wireless local networking (WLAN) with wide area networking (internet). Two different beasts.

      But here's the kicker:

i feel making a dongle similar to how the cable of the index is, (have a usb 3.0 or usb-c to connect to the motherboard to send info back and fourth to the headset and pc then add a display port cable that will take the video out put straight to the headset), allowing no other things to effect playing.

Which is exactly what Meta's optional fiber optic USB-C cable is for 🤪.

Yes, steve_40 I understood, it's why I said it made no difference. You can explained it better! 😁
