Hey there,
We hear you guys are having some problems with connecting your Xbox controller, that is of course not the experience we want you to have and would love to help fix this.
Now, an Xbox controller that is having problems connecting might have something to do with the Bluetooth, so to fix this we will leave a few troubleshooting steps below that should solve all issues regarding Bluetooth.
Restarting the headset as well the controllers is a good way to start, as it will give them both a fresh start and ensure a smooth connection.
Should that not solve the issue, then ensuring that there is no technical issue with the headset itself is the next best step, to do this please try connecting it with a different Bluetooth device (if available to you).
If the headset does not have an issue connecting to a different Bluetooth device, then please try connecting your controller with another device, to rule out any possibility of problems with the controller.
Should both connect just fine to different devices, then we would recommend clearing the Bluetooth cache from your phone with the steps below:
- On an Android device:
- Open Settings and go to Apps.
- Go to Bluetooth
- Tap on Storage and Clear Cache.
- On an iOS device:
- Open Settings and select Bluetooth.
- Forget every Bluetooth device in the My Devices list using the "i" icon.
- Restart your iOS device to clear the cache. After restarting, you will be required to re-pair with Bluetooth devices again.
Lastly, we would also like to mention that any type of unsupported third-party accessories (such as headset covers, etc.) can cause communication errors between the controllers and the headset, so removing them should also solve the problem, if you have any attached.
If the problems continue, then be sure to let us know, so that we can take a closer look into this for you and get you back to gaming ASAP!
Have a wonderful day in the meantime!
