I have the 3 and the 3s Xbox edition. I have to send the controllers in for warranty replacement and wanted to use the Xbox edition touch controllers on my quest 3. I have found they will not pair. On the 3s you see that they are Xbox editions but there is no selection on the 3. Anyone else confirm?

It looks like we may have incorrectly explained that the Xbox special edition controller is compatible with your Meta Quest 3, though that is not the case.
The controller is compatible with the Limited Edition Xbox Meta Quest 3S, and came already paired to your edition Meta Quest 3S. If you need to re-pair the controller or pair it to a different headset, follow the instructions listed on the article Set up a game controller with Meta Quest.

I was told the Xbox version of the 3s controllers are not compatible with the quest 3. Very disappointed.
