Hi, when the option to set the active OpenXR runtime appears greyed out in the Meta Quest Link app on the PC, it is because it has already been set to the Questβs native OpenXR π. The option will only become clickable if a different OpenXR (such as SteamVR, Vive, Virtual Desktop, OpenXR Toolkit, WMR, etc) is active.
So you are probably trying to set something that is already set correctly π.

No, the button wasn't greyed out and was still clickable.
Even after I set the OpenXR runtime to Meta Quest through modifying the registry directly, the button was still clickable. Therefore I am pretty sure Meta Quest Link App UI is completely bugged out. - datboijay20111 month agoHonored Guest
I can't set the OpenXR runtime to Meta Quest by clicking the button, the current XR runtime is Steam VR, the button is grey when i click on it and while i am running the app as administrator. I repaired the app and it still wont work

I am really sorry man. I also have no idea how to fix it properly. Meta is kinda bad...
You should just follow what I posted in the OP (modify registry value manually).
