FLL Robotics innovation project - request for product capability information
We are a middle school team in the FIRST Lego League Robotics program and for our innovation project we are interested in helping disabled/injured archaeologist who cannot access or perform field work by trying to build a real-time immersive experience for them. Our idea is that the disabled/injured person could wear a VR headset (nearby) while another archaeologist works at the excavation site with a 360 degree camera. So the 360 camera would feed the VR headset with real-time video and the VR headse
We would like to understand the features and limitations in existing equipment/technology available (example: Meta Quest and GoPro Max) to support this idea.
- Does existing equipment/software support this experience "out of the box"?
- If so, can you provide the some high level details on the equipment required and their connection.
- Meta Quest model
- recommended 360 degree camera
- connection - wired/wireless/bluetooth?
- If so, can you provide the some high level details on the equipment required and their connection.
- If not, is it something that can be supported with additional hardware/software changes or is it not possible at this time?
