Meta Horizons Device Management Failure

I have absolutely no other ideas at this point. I am attempting to activate developer and debug mode on my device, but I am forced to use the mobile app, which has failed time and time again over the course of weeks. My phone, quest, and desktop are all connected to my private wifi network, which is fiber, and has 1.2 GB bandwidth. The phone is less than two years old, desktop is less than a year old, Quest is less than 6 months old. The app recognizes that my Quest is activated, is on, and can even cast its view. All connected to the same network, all up to date, no software updates or updates in general needed. Yet everytime I hit Devices under Device Management, it shows an exclamation point at the bottom of the screen that might as well be a middle finger. Customer support was absolutely useless and may as well have told me "tough **bleep**." Though I doubt they know anymore than I do.

My question for the community is, is there ANY other way for me to activate developer and therefore debug mode?

There are plenty of tutorial videos on YouTube on how to activate developer mode 🤷‍♂️.

  • Hi kilodets , sorry to hear about your frustration on this! I'm assuming that you have already followed the documentation steps here but to no avail: https://developers.meta.com/horizon/documentation/unity/unity-env-device-setup/

Personally I've never encountered such issue with the exclamation point indicator right after hitting "Devices" under "Device Management" - can you perhaps send us a screenshot showing the exclamation point? This will probably help us on searching for cause of issue or go with another alternative :)
