Okay so if anyone sees it let me know if this makes sense. So, I checked some other classes in the meta interaction SDK plugin and I found something stunning. They use the feature, that I want, with a poke limiter rig modifier.
I found out that they are checking if the mesh is behind the surface. It's awesome how they use the dot product to check if it's 90 degrees at least because if it is then the dot product is negative and they set the variable to true because it is behind the mesh.
Then they save the last intersection point so they can limit my mesh hand to that specific point. I wanted to do the same but I'm not sure how can I limit it, because it's not a universal function, it's specific to the poke interaction. Should I make my own or wait 'till they make it, or go back to the default meta controllers and hands, and make it simulate physics with physics asset attached to the hand mesh?
