Need help getting Meta API access for Instagram...

Hey everyone, I’m trying to understand how to properly get access to the Instagram API through Meta but the whole process feels really confusing.

 

I’ve read that I need a professional account and to create an app on Meta for Developers, but I’m not clear on what steps actually matter to get approved for real usage (not just test mode).

 

Do I need to set up Meta Business Manager and complete business verification? And what kind of use cases usually get approved during App Review?

 

My goal is to use the API for insights/automation (nothing spammy), but I don’t want to mess up or get stuck midway.
