Payout Blocked: W-8 Tax Form stuck "Pending" since April 2024

Hello everyone,

I am writing because I am experiencing a persistent issue with my Facebook Page monetization. My W-8 tax form has been stuck in the Pending status since April 4th, 2024.

Despite having completed all the required steps and submitted the documentation correctly, the status has never updated. This is causing a significant financial loss as my payouts have been frozen for several months.

I have contacted standard Support multiple times, but I only receive automated responses that do not resolve the technical deadlock.

Details of the issue: Issue: W-8 Form stuck in Pending.

Date of last update: April 4, 2024.

Impact: All monetization payouts are currently suspended.

Could a moderator or someone from the Meta team please look into this or escalate my case to the internal financial department? I need a manual review of my tax documentation to unlock my account.

    Wow, a Facebook monetization complaint in the Meta Quest Developer forum. Bold move. Truly visionary. I, too, often bring my car to the dentist when it won't start.

    But hey, since we're all here: your W‑8 being stuck since April 2024 is impressive. At this point it's basically a historical artifact. I'm sure the Meta finance team has it proudly displayed in a museum somewhere under a plaque that reads "Pending: A Study in Eternal Stillness."

    Unfortunately, this forum is about building virtual reality apps, not resurrecting lost tax forms from the bureaucratic abyss. You might have better luck summoning a spirit medium, because Support seems to be responding from the afterlife anyway.

      Fair point. I knew I was in the 'VR land', but after 22 months of Meta Support treating me like a ghost, I figured a virtual reality forum was the only place left where I might find a human soul. Since you clearly appreciate the 'art' of my eternal pending status, do you happen to know if there's a developer API portal or a specific tech-support channel that actually works? Because at this point, the dentist might actually be more helpful than Puneeth from Payment Support. Cheers for the laugh, but the 'quest' for my money is very real!
