Dear Meta Security Team,

I am the rightful owner of the Instagram account ictrules​.

 

Despite having two-factor authentication enabled and the account linked to my active and secure Facebook profile, my account has been hacked and the email and phone number associated with it have been changed by the attacker.

 

Here are the specific facts:

 

I am still receiving the two-factor authentication code via SMS to my original phone number: REDACTED FOR ONLINE SAFETY

 

I also have access to my authenticator app and can enter the 2FA code successfully.

 

However, after entering the 2FA code, I am redirected to a verification screen asking me to confirm access to a phone number and email address that are not mine, likely set by the attacker.

 

I can no longer reset my password or access the account via trusted methods.

 

The account was previously registered with my email: REDACTED FOR ONLINE SAFETY

 

I believe this takeover may have happened via session hijacking or phishing.

 

To help clarify the situation, I have attached several screenshots that visually explain the issue in detail.

 

If you require any identity verification documents or further proof of ownership, please let me know and I will immediately provide them.

 

Please treat this as an urgent security matter. I am the legitimate owner of the account and respectfully ask that you assist me in regaining access to it.
