SMS verification error - "temporary error" when registering Meta Developer account

Hello,

I am trying to register as a Meta for Developers account but I keep getting this error message when I enter my phone number:

"A temporary error has occurred. Please try again later."

Details:

- Country: South Korea (+82)

- I have tried multiple times over several days

- I have tried with VPN as well

- The credit card verification link is also not working (broken link)

- I am using Chrome browser

Please help me complete my developer account verification.

Thank you.

    Things you can try:

    • Turn off VPN (Meta often blocks verification when VPN is detected)
    • Try a different browser or device (Chrome → Edge / mobile)
    • Use a different phone number format (with/without leading 0 after +82)
    • Wait 24–48h and retry (rate limiting can trigger that “temporary error”)

If SMS still fails and the credit card link is broken, you’ll need to go through the Meta Developer Support form.
