Unity Movement SDK

I lost the ability of body tracking a few hours ago,
I was doing some updates in my project so I thought I might broke something inside Unity
then I tested a previous build which had a working body track but the tracking didn't work also
Is it a bug in Meta Horizon Link?

Meta Quest 3 Version 2.3.1034
Meta Horizon Link Version 201.0.0.73.547

Same here, last week was fine and now I can’t play in editor with Meta Movement somehow, everytime I add character retargeter it will crash the Unity, but the other Meta XR still playable

  • Hello, same here, the problem seems to be recurrent on every patch, OVRBody is broken quasi with every update. I would be interested in knowing how Meta works with OVRBody because the problem doesn't seem to be the same with OVRHand.

Hi, I'm in the same situation here. I was developing in Unity 6.3 with Meta Movement SDK Full Body Tracking ISDK and after last week Quest 3 automatic update (I noticed my quest3 controllers were updated), when playing my app the Unity Editor just crashes entirely without even sending an error log report.

I thought I had broken something in my project by mistake. So I started a new Unity project and the issue remains... If you have any news about how to fix this, I would really appreciate it.

  • The crashing issue seems to be resolved with the last update, but I haven't been able to make the OVRBody component work as intended still. If you have any news I'd be happy to hear about it.

Edit : Spoke too quickly, it worked once

  • I am facing the same issue. My project was working fine till 29th April, but from 30th April it started crashing every time I was playing in Unity. It even crashes after I build and run on Quest 3. My project heavily relies on the Movement SDK. If there is a fix, please let me know.
    Many thanks.

  • We are also seeing this issue ever since the most recent update at the end of April.  I'm instructed my team to avoid updates until this is resolved... if anyone can recommend a rollback procedure for the Meta OS and/or the horizon link app, I'd be interested to try it out.

Our entire product is based on skeletal tracking, so we're extremely frustrated by the situation.
