What kind of entertainment are you considering for your guests?

For our wedding, we really wanted to create an experience that felt fun, interactive, and personal. We didn’t want our guests to just sit and watch — we wanted them to truly enjoy the day with us. So, we planned a mix of entertainment throughout the celebration to keep the energy flowing.

During the cocktail hour, we’re having a live acoustic band playing soft romantic and classic songs. It sets a relaxed, elegant mood while guests mingle. For the reception, we decided on a DJ instead of a full band because it gives us more flexibility with the playlist and keeps the dance floor packed. We’ve even planned a few surprise song dedications for family members to make it more personal.

To make the night even more memorable, we’re adding a photo booth with fun props, and we’re hiring a caricature artist to draw quick portraits for guests to take home — it’s a great keepsake and a fun way to fill any downtime.

We’re also planning a late-night snack bar reveal right before the last dance. It’s a fun little surprise that keeps everyone happy until the very end.

For us, entertainment isn’t just about music — it’s about creating little moments of joy, laughter, and connection throughout the day. That’s what makes it truly unforgettable.

  • We’re keeping it simple with an acoustic guitarist during dinner and a live band for the dance floor later.
