Oculus Home stops working sometimes

Hi,

When returning to Oculus Home from an app it sometimes stops working. I can see the room and the 3 small circular icons (store, home, library) at the bottom, but nothing else above it, the entire UI is misssing. The 3 icons do not work and I cannot click them. If I wait a while (10-15 seconds) sometimes the rest of the display returns and the 3 icons begin working again. Sometimes nothing happens and I am stuck in the empty room unable to interact with anything, in which case I have to remove / reinsert my phone and restart the system.

I received some notifications about Oculus being updated so not sure if this is the cause. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the Oculus / Gear VR apps but has not fixed the issue.

Anyone else seen this problem or know how to fix? Any help much appreciated.

    Have you tried running the installer again and tried the 'repair' or 'fix' option, can't remember exactly which word it uses.

    I'd recommend contacting support to report the bug, I've never heard of it before: https://tickets.oculus.com/hc/en-us/requests/new

    Thank you for your reply. I did try a reinstall, following the steps in the support article (https://support.oculus.com/968822933206930/) to remove Oculus and then placing the phone in the VR unit to trigger the setup installer again.

    I don't remember seeing a repair or fix option though, so not sure how I would access these options.

    I will submit a ticket to the support site to report the issue.
