A place for nothing and everything

I am an odd feller and ironically Feller is my last name. I am one of those smart dumb people, who is a jack of all trades, and a master of none. No official training on anything and self taught everything. That being said I need a driver almost like a piece of hardware, to keep me focused, on task, and piece by piece direction. I have a great idea for a multi-layered world that combines so of the great things of many of the games I play along with things i wished my games did, and a great deal of nothing thats a lot of something..... I have a rough .gdd written up and wouldn't mind sharing with anyone interested in helping my Idea come to life.... I need a group of people i think to make this happen people from all the area's but i am really looking for a close partner someone who can help guide me through what it takes to make something actually game quality, to provide me with the know of who i need for what , and to teach me some of the general basics. I may be over thinking the greatness and need for what this thing could be but for every game i play they all satisfy one or two needs or wants .... wouldn't it be great to have a game that gave you something of everything if you wanted or simply nothing if that is what you wanted? pm me if interested, would like to be involved, suggestions , thoughts or would like to mentor me in a skill or task. thanks for listening.

  • “A Jack of all Trades, a Master of None” What a great title for something and how I can feel related to it haha.

I hear you on wanting a game that’s everything and nothing, depending on what the player’s craving. That’s a kool concept, giving people freedom to dip into whatever satisfies them in the moment, whether it’s a ton of action or just chilling in a quiet corner of the world. Do you ever overthink the over thinking? Don’t worry about overthinking it. That’s how awesome ideas get started.

Indy over thought the weight of sand in switching out the Idol. Yet, he still survived.

Yes  thinking thinking thinking always. Kinda makes it hard to  find a place to  start. I wish there was a template to  be able to  start.... I'm thinking  a multi regional map kinda how each walk about mini golf has different themes per course, and a running time as in day night  and weather, with many environmental variables, i.e. rain splatter when you look up in the rain  sluggish movement in muddy areas, ect. Free roam world with  independent  activities , quests and many  Easter eggs to  find that can add or alter game play and high use of the haptics, visual and directional sounds to  really immerse the player

  • I think u gotta be creative and some type of inspiration to be here ..there are so many gifted mentors  a great welcoming community
