Nice work on this game. It feels like it's coming together nicely, that being said there seems to be a stack of things left to do.
Please take my criticism lightly with a grain of salt.
These are all suggestions, just things to consider.
Overall, get the game loop from start to finish done. There should be some end of game thing happening. Despite all the zombie efforts, they didn't really cause any damage to my castle in the game.
I would have loved to have some indicator showing me how many zombies I killed. For mobile it would be nice to lock that info up at the top along with the wave.
I liked how right away you are in the midst of zombies and it's clear what to do. The endless waves of zombies however became a bit monotonous. I love tower defense games and part of the enjoyment of that is the ability to upgrade, repair and build, while my enemies damage things and grow stronger.
I'm expecting to play a tower defense game and right now it's more like a balloon popping game.
I was also thinking it might be fun to break up the waves with some sort of bonus level that might allow you to grab tokens, upgrade weapons, find new tools or build or whatever. Maybe getting results at the end of the waves would be fun.
Once again causing and showing damage would be helpful, some ui showing your building health or your avatar health would be nice. Maybe you have limited ammo or something too.
The visuals and environment is nice, I like the vibe of the environment. If you shut your eyes during game play, it's a very peaceful experience. I'd put a little more into considering your sound environment.
I'd love to have a few better indicators of me blasting the zombies away. If I was making a balloon popping game, I'd show the balloons exploding and have some sound with that. I know the zombies have a little death sequence, it's quiet and slow to get started. Hit or miss, it's nice to have feedback on that.
I'd also like to have some elevation in the game too, I have this awesome castle, it'd be fun to shoot from different perspectives and go inside my castle.
It would be funny to add a for sale sign to the front of the castle, you know like some real estate salesperson sign. You could even have non-zombies approaching the place that you aren't supposed to be shooting. Or add some of those chicken NPCs lol.
I think that's my big list for now.
