SNOWY TOWNLET needs play testers

Snowy Townlet - Winter Aurora

Hey guys, I've just finished my world called Snowy Townlet - Winter Aurora

I have tried to fit everything I can do, into this build, so I would love some feedback!

It's just me, and not a team of people, and every single mesh you see there has been had made by myself in Blender and painted in Substance painter.

    I had a really fun time trying to find all the gingerbread people! I was only able to find 14/20, you're great at hiding them!

    A couple of quirks I encountered during my playtest:

    1. Some trees/plants could be seen "in front of" nearby trees/plants. Same with the waterfall and the trivia stones on the ground.

    2. At steep angles, these particular red flowers would become flat.

    3. I found the secret golden key, but I wasn't sure how to interact with it? (this one is more of a question than playtest feedback)

    4. I was able to defeat the skeletons and grab a gingerbread person, but when I did grab it I got stuck in first person POV for a little while. It eventually went back to third person POV.

    5. When starting the gingerbread hunt by finding a gingerbread person, you don't see the HUD telling you how many to find. I think it would be nice to be able to pick one up and start the hunt even if you don't start via the treasure chest. I would also love to have a timer on the HUD when I'm doing the hunt so I know how much time I have left without checking the treasure chest.

    I really enjoyed my time in your world! I'd love to come back again. :)

      thanks so much for the play test! 

      The transparency issue regarding the trees, I’ve been told is a know shader bug in Horizon, so transparencies reveal other transparencies behind it and there’s not much I can do. Maybe when I get the new Studio I can change this. 

      The secret golden key you are supposed to walk up to and a trigger puts you on the "Sky View" platform - there are then instructions at your feet on how to get off if it (great for shareable selfies)

      I’ve no idea what caused the first person view as that’s not in my coding  (Horizon camera issues maybe? I'd also like to know why it's doing that!)

      I love your tip re the gingerbreads, but the code was a skills swap with a friend so I don't have time to look into that before the competition. 

      Today I created a living NPC onboarding moment where she sends a message, draws a sword so you stop, comes up to you talks and then stands back. I even created the avatar. 

      New features were added in time for the competition so I’m now busy filming the new features. 

      The gingerbreads I’d love to help you find, as if you get all 20 you get a free sword asset added to your Horizon inventory. 

      This world took me months to make as I made every single asset in Blender myself then textured them all. 

      I think I’m out of time to do much more before the competition end tonight, but I’d love to say hi next time you’re on
