Why these different image aspect ratios?
Hi all, this has been bugging me, happens a lot. Here's an example, two photos, one taken right after the other, using the shutter button. Why different aspect ratios? Thanks!
This looks 1:1This looks 4:5Hello kevin!
We see here that you are wondering why the photos you took appear to have different aspect ratios. We would be happy to help answer this question for you.
The reason why the photos appear in different aspect ratios is because, when a hair or finger blocks a little bit of the camera lens while taking a picture, it will automatically crop out whatever is blocking the camera and therefore appear as a different aspect ratio than the picture before, as there may not have been something blocking the camera in the first picture.
We hope this information is helpful and you will continue taking such beautiful pictures!
