Cannot Finish Meta AI Account Setup

I have a Meta Ray Band Gen2 and purchased a new phone Moto Razr Ultra 2025. I have been trying to login to set up the glasses. I can receive the code or enter password but once the app goes to save the password / login it endless loads (spins). I have tried several fixes to make this work without luck. This includes but was not limited to clearing cash, clearing storage, rebooting phone, updating app, uninstalling and reinstalling app, setting up a new account, checking WIFI connection.

    I am having the exact same problem. Yet it works on another device (pixel 9). I chatted with meta support who gave me simplistic advice like restarts etc and basically said "Android is known to have glitches."

     

    Wondering if this is widespread and will be fixed or if I need to get another phone. It'll be very frustrating if I get another phone and encounter the same thing though.

     

    Really distressing as I am trying to set this up for my mother who recently lost her vision.

      May have found a solution. Pair the glasses directly to the phone Bluetooth, not through the Meta App (hold case button 5 sec then use phone Bluetooth and select). Then go to Meta AI app and do the normal setup for the account. Unfortunately for the Meta AI pairing you will have to reset your glasses as it will say they are already registered. Once reset the meta pairing should work normally.
