How do I delete glasses from my meta account?

I sold my Ray-Bans on eBay, and had reset them, unpaired, etc. but had no idea meta wouldn't allow me to remove them from my account. When I go to meta.com/my/devices I can see my glasses, but I don't have them any more. And the new owners of course can't set anything up because they're still tied to my account. I've never seen a company prohibit someone from removing hardware from their account.
