Meta Raybans Gen 1 Messaging Unavailable

Hi there, I recently bought a pair of the Meta Raybans Wayfarer Gen 1s. Now, I’m at the stage where I can connect my Instagram and WhatsApp to receive notifications. When I try to add my cellular number, the calling function works, but the messaging doesn’t. I’ve enabled the Bluetooth settings that are required, but it keeps looping the same screen, asking me to enable those settings. Can you please help me with this issue?

    Hey there. 

    You need to enable permissions in the messaging app and the Meta AI-App. Make sure find nearly devices is allowed and that Meta has permission, not only to the phone app but also messaging app. 

    After that you should be ready to go. Just say "okay Meta please write a message to [anyone] on my phone"
