What happen to celebrity voices?

My gen1s started malfunctioning, I got gen2s in an exchange. I set it up on the same phone I had my gen1s on, and now I can’t use any celebrity voices.

I tried setting the glasses up on another phone and it shows em but when I reconnected to my phone it’s unavailable again.  Is this just a me thing? What is happening lol

Help please I hate the three voices it leaves me with.

  • I have the same issue they were showing in the app and after I updated to 20.0 I noticed I’m not seeing it in the app for the Ray-ban gen 2 just those three generic ones

    We see you have lost the ability to have Celebrity voices on the Meta AI app, after changing to a new pair of Gen 2 glasses. Can you please ensure that both the app and glasses are fully updated. If you are still not able to get them, please submit a bug report so our engineers can look into this further.

     

    To report a bug:

    1. From the Meta AI mobile app, tap in the top left.
    2. Tap Settings in the bottom left.
    3. Scroll down and tap Help & support.
    4. Tap Submit a report.
    5. Follow the on-screen instructions to describe your issue and submit your report.

  • Did you get yours figured out?
    I’m having the same issue today with my new glasses. I need my celebrity voice back. 🤦🏻‍♂️

        They are. Even deleted the app and set everything up again and didn’t fix it

  • I just got my Gen 2 Raybans and I was looking forward to try out some of these voices and they are not there.

  • Same issue here. First pair of RBM had the voices immediately. Added a second pair and they only have the original, so now each pair has a different voice. 

    I can no longer see the celebrity voices on my original pair, although Kristin is still set and working.

    also having the same issue new glasses latest app update and glasses update, unable to see any celebrity voices

      We'd love to get you the celebrity voices on the Meta AI back again. Can you make sure that your App and glasses are on the latest versions compatible with one another. If they are fully up to date and this feature still isn't working, please follow the steps below to submit a bug report so that our engineers can look into this further!

        MetaStoreHelp​  hello - both are up to date, I’ve tried unpairing and repairing, uninstalling the app and I submitted a bug report already. Please let me know if anything else can be done. 

  • what i do noticed is if you change the Language to English (India), it shows the AI Voice Deepika for for that one but when you switch back to English (US) still same default voice

    I had the same issue when updating to V 21. I read through several forums, did a full reset etc. Nothing seemed to work. Then on a whim I went into the App Store on my iPhone and the Meta Ai showed open on the search page like it was up to date. But hen I clicked on the app icon, for more info, it showed me update. I did the update to 251.0.0 and the voices showed back up.

      Nooice, looked like the released a new app update, 

      that update did the trick, lucky you got the update for v21 I haven’t got it yet
