I was looking for more thorough documentation for my META AI glasses. Something that has all features, how to use, etc. Spoiler Alert: You can do this manually, or use an AI engine. I used ChatGPT to pull together info and create a couple of docs. Here’s the deal - with the rapid addition of features, and eminent competition heading into this space, i can understand why there isn’t a printable, definitive manual / PDF with all the features and how to use them, for the Meta AI glasses. So… I created it using ChatGPT. What prompts did I use? Now — this is subject to debate, as there are no doubt better more comprehensive doc generation prompts. Just sharing what I did:
In order of what I iterated through, i launched ChatGPT on my Mac and did the following prompts:
“generate a detailed guide with instructions for each AI feature that are enabled for the Ray-Ban Meta AI Gen 2 glasses”
This resulted in a summary document, that had nearly everything I was looking for. ChatGPT grabbed this information from a half dozen sources. It covered everything from initial setup to using Voice commands, asking various things like the weather, time, scheduling meetings, to camera and video capture. Live translation was covered, including enabling it in the app. Note: This could have been more comprehensive as it did not go into detail on the app enablement bits, but they are easy enough to find. I ended up adding this info to my copy
Other stuff covered was Audio, Calls, Media Controls.
ChatGPT went on to recommend generating a quick voice commends phrases for my Meta AI glasses, which while slightly redundant … i did.

Lastly… The Release Notes are loaded with features that get added. There are the official release notes page: https://www.meta.com/help/ai-glasses/1809764829519902/ … and… even better imo - is the In-App Release notes. On your phone…. Open the Meta View (or Meta AI) App. Open Device settings ( gear icon if you click on t he glasses icon on bottom of screen). Go to General > About. Tap on the version number. This… opens up a page detailing features added in your current firmware. <— THIS… has new features that you just picked up. So... if you think you know it all.. check these, just to be sure.
That's it. hth.. though it is possible a comprehensive, up-to-date Meta provided help file, already has this stuff :D
