Is it possible to set glasses like on a dresser and leave the room, and tell them to start recording using your phone, or something like this? So they are acting like a wireless security camera.
Or can we video chat with ourselves somehow so we can see on our phone what the glasses are seeing,

yeah usually when you make a WhatsApp video call you can see on your phone what the glasses are seeing.
You can set the glasses somewhere and shout to them that they start recording but there is no such feature like remote recording.
I guess that's designed like that so no little creeps start "forgetting" the glasses at a girls bathroom and watching them.
So whatever you have planned: please don't be a spying creep.
