STOP Misleading marketing in Finding lost Meta 1
I am extremely disappointed that I lost my Metta 1 glasses this Saturday night and they didn’t have a feature to find them. I went online and as a huge surprise a video stating that the glasses have those features. The reality is that my Metta have the latest update and no feature of finding lost Metta 1. I wish that misleading propaganda is eliminated from every social media platforms because are NOT true. The moment you lose those glasses you are done as a consumer after you sacrifice and spent hard work money.
I'm really sorry you lost your glasses - that's frustrating for anyone. Just to clarify though, the Gen 1 Meta/Ray‑Ban glasses have never included any kind of "find my glasses" or location‑tracking feature. The videos circulating online that show that capability are not from Meta and are almost always demonstrating Gen 2, which do have a "Find My" function in the Meta View app. It's understandable that the mixed content online creates confusion, but the community forum isn't responsible for those third‑party videos. Gen 1 simply wasn't built with the hardware needed for tracking, so no update can add it.
