I'm on my 2nd pair now gen 2, one bought in Italy and the gen 2 in UK.
Still no ai features available in my country Malta EU, makes no sense as meta ai is available in WhatsApp , messenger etc
It's frustrating having paid for 2 pairs and having the most essential feature unavailable
Wait until you find out that Meta will only honour the warranty in the country where you made the purchase and will only send repairs/replacement to the country of purchase 😬.
Spot on .. exactly what happened ...just stopped working one day ..no physical damage. ..went months in a loop to get them replaced . ..by the time they accepted to send return package to Malta ..I lost them lol
Still succumbed and bought another pair 😂 but want the ai features !!

I can relate, I’m in the same situation and purchased mine in Italy. I actually traveled there recently and came across this travel guide on Italy https://gowithguide.com/blog/tourism-in-italy-statistics-2024-your-quick-travel-guide-to-the-beautiful-country-5775 while planning my trip. It’s frustrating that the AI features aren’t available in Malta yet, even though the device itself works fine. Hopefully support will expand soon so these features can be used as intended.
There are even people in USA (yes, USA!) complaining that Meta AI is not available on their Meta AI glasses. Even people living in the same house, one person got Meta AI while their spouse didn't!!! 😬 The way it's being rolled out so inconsistently is bizarre.
I thought about it. Maybe that's some sort of "leveling" Meta has secretly implemented xD. The more and cleverer interactions you have the more features are unlocked 😁😅
Of course I am making fun but sometimes the feature availability and rollout seems soo randomly...
I cant get support as I enter the serial id for my meta glasses but it cant find them..
The serial number of your glasses are printed in the left temple. It's the first block (upper left) of numbers and letters.
If you didn't buy from Meta, I was told the serial number search won't work on their website. I did buy from Meta and couldn't find it from the serial number. The order number worked best because someone at Meta had the genius idea to repeat the serial numbers on the different models. My serial number kept pulling up the other person with the same serial number as mine. same number in the Skylar model but mine are the wayfarer. That customer probably got over 100 "verify emails" because of me
