Audio not working

Just got some Rayban Meta Wayfarer glasses and after the last update, I’m getting a message that says my speakers aren’t working and that I can’t listen to audio until my speakers are fixed. Anyone else run into this problem?

    Hi there Lejeind!

     

    We saw you were having some trouble getting audio on your Ray-Ban Meta Wayfarers, and thought we'd lend a hand!

     

    It can be really frustrating not being able to get sound out of your speakers, but luckily we have a few steps you can follow to get it sorted out! We'd recommend force restarting your glasses, and the steps for that are right here:

     

    To force restart your glasses using the Meta AI app:

    1. In the Meta AI App, tap the Glasses icon
    2. If you have multiple devices paired with the Meta AI mobile app, swipe left or right to select the device you want to use
    3. Tap Settings
    4. Tap General
    5. Tap Force restart

    To manually force restart your glasses:

    1. Slide the power button back to power the glasses off.
    2. Press and hold the capture button.
    3. While still holding the capture button, slide the power button forward to turn the glasses back on.
    4. Once the status light LED turns red, release the capture button.

    If you still can't get any sound out of your speakers after force restarting it, or if the error message is still present, we'd recommend reaching out to Ray-Ban Support for more help!

      I followed these steps and my girlfriend meta glasses is still giving the message that her speakers are not working. So what should we do now?

        Do you have three different accounts? Why are you always writing from an other name. 

        Are you a bot or just a troll?

      I have the same problem and I have tried to both factory reset and restart and nothing makes that error go away that I have found

      Just received my replacement and I’m still having the same problem with my Skyler Meta Ray banging sound not working. 

  • This is my second pair, and I just received another error response. I performed a hard start, cleaned the speakers, and unpaired them. No luck. I'm bringing them back to the store to see if I can repair or return them. Only had it for 5 months.

  • The exact same thing happened to me, and I've tried everything and the glasses still will not work, I even filed a claim and they denied me. When people ask now if I would recommend the glass I certainly do not. 

  • This is probably my worst purchase because I spent over $400 for the Skyler Meta just for them to get an update and have the glass to stop working. The crazy part is if multiple people are complaining about the same issue, then it's up to Meta to make it right.  A week after my glasses reached it's one year warranty they stopped working.

      same problem here and have just been told this is not covered by warrantee. seems to have happened with the last update as i haven't used the glasses at all recently. 

  • My speakers are also randomly not working. I just filed a claim, but why is it so hard to get support for this issue?

      I know it's a design fault. I'm on my 4th replacement pair. The glasses are great, but this fault needs some serious attention. I bought my pair from the OPSM outlet, and they know the fault, but it has become a contentious situation. 

  • Hello, I need your help! Ordered Ray Ban glasses from the official website Ordered RayBan glasses from the official website on January 12, 2026. I got glasses on February 13, 2026. I used glasses for 1.5 months.

    On March 29, I shot my content in the morning. After shooting, I turned off my glasses and continued to wear them ( in the off state )

    After 3 hours, I turn on the glasses and it doesn't say anything (and it doesn't take off or take pictures) that is , it turns on silently . I thought maybe the battery was dead, charged the case and glasses, but still. Then I started looking for information from Anglo and American tik tok (specifically Gen1). Many people have this problem. There is also an error on the Meta Ai application itself.

     

    Also, as soon as I put on my glasses, they turn off immediately. And it seems that the sensors that are located near the ear, when there is contact with the ears, they automatically turn off.

    Please help me with this problem. This is a factory defect can you make a refund
