Cannot turn on my meta glasses

I’ve already placed the glasses in the charging case for more than 7 hours while the charging case itself was plugged in. When I remove the glasses from the case and then put them back in, the notification LED flashes white and then turns green. At that moment, the glasses can connect to the Meta AI app.

When I take the glasses out of the case, the connection disappears, and the glasses become completely unresponsive. No matter how I slide the power button or press the capture button, the notification LED does not light up.

I have also tried resetting to factory settings and pairing again. When I press and hold the button on the back of the case, the front button does not turn blue. I have to keep the glasses inside the case and hold the capture button for several seconds until the notification LED on the glasses starts blinking blue. Only then can the glasses be paired. However, I cannot perform the same steps when the glasses are outside the case.

Once the glasses are out of the case, they are completely dead.

What is wrong with my glasses? This is my second use after purchased this toy 2 years ago.

When i setup my glasses ( 2 days ago) i had a similar issue.  Was at wits end.  I knew I had charged the glasses and case, but the Metas just looked dead.  I made certain the switch was in the 'on' position (slid forward so there is no red dot) and then..  I watched a YouTube video that helped me finish setup.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WET11bJNvy0   IIRC.. it was actually putting my glasses on my face that got me through final setup (along with making sure i had the 'on' switch in the right position.

Thank you. I watched the video. When I pushed the pair button, the case led  turned to bright white, not the blue. I had to choose no case, and press the capture button in the glasses while they were in the case. Then my glasses were paired with Meta AI app. But when I remove the glasses out from the case, the connection was gone again. The glasses still had no response.

Im sorry to hear that.  Like I mentioned, I only setup and started using my Ray-Ban Meta Rev 2s a couple days ago, so I dont have a ton of experience.  Again, the biggest deal for me was making certain the on/off switch was slid forward towards the lens (on position) and... (and this was important for me).. actually putting the glasses on my face to finish the setup.  Wearing the glasses seemed to trigger the last mile stuff I needed to get going.  If you've tried that (wearing the glasses while completing the setup) and it made no difference, then.. Im sorry - I have no ideas.  Might need to reach out to support.  G'luck and please post back once you get things settled out.
