Data from Garmin is Garbage

I have my Vanguard glasses paired to my Garmin Fenix 8.  During a run I ask Meta how far I’ve run and the answer is get is something like 770,000 miles!  My pace, duration, and heart rate are correct.  I’ve tried many variations of the question, such as “how far have I run today” or “how far have I run during my current activity” and I get the same answer.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

  • 770,000 miles? Mate… congratulations, you've officially outrun humanity 👟.

At that pace, your Garmin isn't tracking a run anymore—it's documenting your heroic escape from the Milky Way. NASA called; they want their probe back 🛰️.

Honestly, if Meta thinks you've clocked three‑quarters of a million miles, your Vanguard glasses must be interpreting your jog as:

    • A casual lap around the sun 🌞
    • A light warm‑up before entering hyperspace 🚀
    • Or the first recorded instance of a human breaking the speed of light mid‑run 💡

Your heart rate is normal, your pace is normal, but your distance says you've achieved intergalactic travel. That's not a bug—that's a feature. You've unlocked Ultra‑Marathoner: Universe Edition 🌠.

But if you do want to fix it, you might need to tell your Garmin that you're a runner, not a comet ☄️.
