I have the same problem, I tried everything. I ordered mine at Meta itself. My edge 1040 solar and Epix gen 2 are compatible. Also have the white screen; been mailing with support numerous times. The last reply was that they can't help me out because this is a Garmin issue???
At first, support was helpful. What they told me to troubleshoot (although none of this works)
- Uninstall Meta AI app en reinstall and connect again your Vanguard
- Empty cache of your browser on your phone
- Restart Garmin appliance and phone
- Factory reset and re-install Vanguard, reinstall app Meta AI
None of this works, and they basically ended the conversation by sending me to Garmin support
Apple, Spotify etc just works fine...
What a shame, and unbelievable they cannot fix this...

I’ve had the exact same issues, I have done the app uninstall reinstall as Meta advised, I spoke with Technical at Garmin UK and was told this is a Meta issue. So back to square one. Just have to wait for a fix.
What’s really annoying is that Meta or Garmin haven’t put out a statement saying this is a known issue with a timestamp for a fix. 😡
