List of notification sounds somewhere? - Meta Gen1

I keep hearing a chime like every hour in my glasses, but I cannot identify what it means. it's not a message notification, it's nothing I've heard before and I can't understand what it means. It's getting anoying because I don't know why that is happening and I can't really tell, I've played with the settings but it's still there. No notifications or nothing are displayed in my phone. Is anyone experiencing this? Is there a list of "sounds" so I can identify , at least, what the glasses are trying to tell me?

Thanks

  • What I'm hearing is like a three-tone ascendent chime. I can hear it many times in a row, and then it can disappear off for hours.

I guess that's the sound of the soundsource changing. That's happening to me when for example I am listening to Spotify and then opening Instagram.

Instagram is taking the control of the sound and playing the sounds of the videos I'm watching.

I think you keep changing apps when you hear that sound often in a row.

      Hope that's helpful;)

      Hello there!

Thanks for bringing this question to our community posts, we are sure this will be helpful for future users wondering about their notifications. The sounds you are hearing are most likely the notifications from your glasses telling you that you are out of the wifi signal range  or that your glasses are trying to reconnect to your bluetooth. Another possible source of this sound would be the wear detection setting that keeps reproducing the noise.

You can manage these notification through the Meta AI mobile app:

      • Open the Meta AI mobile app.
      • Tap your profile picture or the Menu icon.
      • Go to Settings > Notifications (or App settings > Notifications).
      • Tap Devices.
      • From here, you can turn specific device notifications on or off.

If you require further assistance or if you have any questions about how to change these settings. Do not hesitate, send us a message through any of our Support Channels to initiate a conversation with one of our agents, they'll be more than happy to assist!

Hi, I've tried that, but when I go to the Devices, I only see one switch, that allows to turn on or off all notifications. There is no breakdown of specific notifications. I'm using the Spanish version of the app, does that matter?
