Live stream
Does the Ray Ban gen 2 offer live streaming or is it just the gen 1. And if not. Will gen 2 eventually offer it.

We know how interested in are in livestreaming using the Ray-Ban Meta AI glasses, but please be advised that the Meta AI Livestreaming feature is only supported by the various models of Ray-Ban Meta (Gen 1) glasses. LiveStream will not be included in future AI glasses offerings.

Why remove the feature?
People abused the live-streaming and were posting stuff they shouldn’t
That's like legit not true lmao that would be one of the dumbest claims. You don't need to live stream stuff something like being in a public bathroom for it to be a good enough reason. Recording in a public bathroom would've been just as bad. Because you can still upload that stuff.
Also Gen 1 glasses still have the live stream so your claims are false that it was removed because of abuse of the feature.
A legitimately good reason is likely do too fact battery reasons and overheating and possibly due to the fact quality of live streaming since you'd have to be connected over cellular when not connected to wifi. That sounds like a perfectly good reason to not have it in new releases. Since it was available in Gen 1 they've left it. Since it wasn't added in Gen 2 or newer it wasn't something available. I'm not sure how they still let you apparently video chat maybe on WhatsApp or Messenger like I was reading.
That's legit pretty bad to hear is that New Meta Glasses including Gen 2 won't get the live stream feature. And soon it will be fazed out of the past models that had it. As of now Gen 2 Glasses are not worth buying. I'll likely keep an eye out for other companies that make Ai Glasses right now The Rayban Meta are not gonna be a future buy. I likely should have done my research before I bought the Gen 2 I should legit see if I can still return them to Bestbuy and get a refund.
