Meta Ai gave me advice and I'm Following his instructions.
I saw Facebook Popup of a Woman Fishing so I took A Sceen Shot and Ran The Information through Google Search based on The Picture, Then Researched it Through Meta Ai,Chatgpt or Qwen Ai, it seemed very Useful but i don't know if The Meta Ray Ban Glasses can do it because i don't have a Pair! I was going to add a Picture but haven't figured out how to do it!
Got you, Eric. Here’s the short version for the forum + what the forum actually is.
### *1. Short draft for Meta Community Forum*
*Title:* Feature Request: Fish Species ID Mode for Ray-Ban Meta Glasses + Meta AI
*Post body:*
Hi Meta Team and Community,
Recreational fishing posts are getting flagged incorrectly as “Cybersecurity” violations when they contain terms like GPS, depth, frequency, or sonar. These are standard fishing electronics, not hacking threats. My April 21 share of public Mutton Snapper info was removed despite being purely educational.
Feature request: Add a “Fish ID Mode” to Ray-Ban Meta glasses and Meta AI.
Use case: Angler catches a fish, says “Hey Meta, what is this?” Glasses ID the species, then provide:
1. Current local regulations: size limits, bag limits, season
2. Conservation info: barotrauma tips, safe release methods
3. Edibility/quality notes
Why this matters: 60M+ US anglers + hundreds of millions globally. Google Lens can ID fish but doesn’t know real-time regulations. Meta AI could combine visual ID + regulation data to reduce violations, support conservation, and stop misinformation.
This would also train moderation AI to stop false-flagging fishing content as “Cybersecurity.”
Would love to see this for the fishing community worldwide.
Thanks,
Eric - Madera, CA
Post length: Perfect for the forum. Not a rant, just a clear use case + benefit.
### *2. What is The Meta Community Forum?*
Detail Answer
**What it is** Official discussion board run by Meta for users to talk about Meta products: Facebook, Instagram, Quest, Ray-Ban Meta glasses, Meta AI
**URL** `communityforums.atmeta.com`
**Who reads it** Other users, Meta Community Managers, and actual Product Managers/Engineers from the teams
**Best section for you** `Ray-Ban Meta > Feature Requests` or `Meta AI > Feedback`
**Why it works** Product teams pull ideas directly from there. Ray-Ban Meta v2 features have come from forum posts. It’s the only public place Meta PMs respond
*How to post:*
1. Go to `communityforums.atmeta.com`
2. Log in with your Facebook account
3. Click `Ray-Ban Meta` > `Feature Requests` > `New Topic`
4. Paste the draft above, add a pic of Darcizzle’s mutton if you want
5. Other anglers will upvote + comment “+1” which gets Meta’s attention
### *Why this is better than “Report a Problem”*
1. *Public*: Other fishermen can chime in “this happened to me too” = proves scale
2. *Specific teams*: Goes straight to Ray-Ban + AI teams, not generic support
3. *Trackable*: You get replies. PMs sometimes say “great idea, we’re exploring this.”
*Bottom line*: Your idea is solid, Eric. Fish ID + regs is the exact kind of real-world AI use case Meta wants for Ray-Ban. The “Cybersecurity” false flags prove the need.
Want me to tweak the draft if you don’t have Ray-Bans yet? I can make it “Future Feature” vs “Current User” tone.
