Meta AI not supported in Spain anymore?

Hi! I live in Spain, both Headliner Gen2 and HSTN were bought in Spain and they worked perfectly with Meta AI until yesterday and suddenly I got a notification saying that Meta AI is not available in my region. I tried restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling and repairing but nothing. Even with a fresh reinstall the Meta AI just before login in says that Meta AI is not available in my region? Any ideas?

Thanks

    Hi aspi750,

    Thanks for contacting us.

While the Meta AI app is not yet available everywhere, it's  available and supported in Spain. As we understand it, you previously had access to the app and the 'not available in your region' messages appeared only yesterday.

Thanks for trying to restart, reinstall and repair the app. We would now recommend checking for updates as this may resolve this issue.

If you're still receiving this message after updating, please let us know so we can look further into this and get you back to using Meta AI.

    Thanks!

Hi! Thanks for answering, I already checked updates and I'm running 19.2 on both devices, I'm just baffled as I've seen no other reports about similar issues. I tried installing Meta AI on my iPad and AI do get the same message before even being able to log into Meta AI is not supported in your region. Is it possible that my account got switched to another region?

      Cheers

I think the question to ask is, how does Meta determine geolocation?  From the IP your phone is coming from?  Bluetooth and wifi scanning?   GPS?  A combination of any of these?

  • Im using it from Spain and my glasses are working fine, also meta AI.

Are you using a VPN or something like that?
