Meta AI Wayfarer Gen 1 Voice Change Announcements

So, meta ai glasses when i change the voice from the stock default, it doesn't announce text messages or phone calls.

More specific it was the voice from India 

Deepika Padukone.

Have you experienced this at all? I bounced around voices, but default seems to work. Everything is updated as of February 28 2026 both iPhone 17 and meta app.

Basically after wiping them clean and fresh restart I decided to change settings one by one, then I found the issue. 

Plus Im talking about my phone messaging service, not FB Messenger.

I am able to use these features now with the default voice, but it's fun to play around with other voices.
