Meta Ray-Ban Display – Neural Band Not Charging, Serial Number Not Recognized

Question

Hi everyone,&nbsp;I recently purchased a brand-new Meta Ray-Ban Display. However, the Neural Band cannot charge at all — no indicator lights or response when connected to the charger.&nbsp;I tried to register the device using its serial number, but the support page shows an error message saying “We couldn’t find information for this product”, so I can’t submit a support request.&nbsp;Has anyone experienced the same issue?Is there another way to contact Meta Support or get warranty service for this product?&nbsp;Any help would be greatly appreciated!&nbsp;Thank you 🙏&nbsp;&nbsp;

Try an other power adapter that supports voltages greater than five Volts.

Try turning the the dock the other way around.

Try turning the USB C plug the other way around.

Hope one of these suggestions might help.

Thanks for your suggestions!I’ve tried all of those — using a different power adapter (higher voltage), flipping the dock, and reversing the USB-C plug — but unfortunately, the Neural Band still won’t charge.

We've just come across your issue regarding the Meta Neural Band charging you are currently having. We want you to have the best possible experience with the Meta Ray-Ban Display and really appreciate all the steps you've taken so far, but would ask you to complete the following steps:
&nbsp;

Make sure Meta Neural Band is properly seated in charger
 Make sure contacts on band and charger are both clean (free of dirt/dried sweat/liquid)
 If there is moisture on the charging pins, either wait 24 hours for the pins to dry or wipe them off with a clean, dry cloth - Help Center Article: Care and cleaning tips for AI glasses
 Unplug the USB-C cable from the power source (adapter/outlet) and then plug it back in. Try rotating/flipping over the cable when plugging it back in.
 Try using a different power source (adapter/outlet)
 Try rotating the charger when attaching it to Meta Neural Band.&nbsp;
