My META Vanguard AI glasses don’t have neither garmin or strava on app connections

Hello i’m also experiencing the same issue with the garmin and strava apps, I tried everything updating the app, restarting both devices even doing factory reset on the vanguard, and none of them worked, both apps doesn’t appear to me on the app neither Strava or Garmin Connect, the only ones that appear are Spotify, Apple Music (on the iphone) and Amazon Music.

Don’t forget these are very expensive glasses, and connecting to my garmin watch or gps was one of the main reasons for buying these glasses, and now they don’t work? 

I’m in Portugal.


Really would like some help and how can I solve this issue.

    We hear that you're having issues connecting both Garmin and Strava with your Oakley Meta Vanguard glasses, we know that you've paid a good amount of money for your AI glasses and we'd love to help you out. However you've mentioned that you're currently living in Portugal, which is at the moment a country that is not supported by Oakley Meta Vanguard AI Glasses. Not being in a supported country can make it so that some features aren't available to you currently, which would explain the current problem.       Ok, you have Spain but not Portugal 😔. When will Portugal be a supported country?

      Hi There, I bought some last week for the same reason as Katytapt​. I live in New Zealand. Can you give us some sort of time frame of when it will be available to us? $954NZD i spent on these.

  • Check the app permissions. You need to enable access to the fitnessdata and GPS and access to nearby devices.

    Try to change the language to English US and restart your phone. That sometimes helps too.

      Hey @snoopdoggy69 I will try that today and let u know how I go. Fingers crossed. But if NZ is not in the listed supported countries then I still don't think anything will work. 

  • I'm having the exact same issue with Garmin and Strava. And I'm in Singapore. Disappointed to have paid so much as my reason for buying is the same as yours
