Neural band freezes and stops working

So... I've had my Meta Display glasses for about a week and all was fine, till it wasn't. Now, when I use my glasses and band, the band functionality stops after a few minutes of usage. I have rebooted the band and re-paired, I have reset it back to factory settings, I have cleaned the band contacts, and just about every other recommended fix, but only get temporary correction. Could the band just be defective??? What else should I try? Excited, but frustrated, if this is what to expect from these after such a short time.
