Hello eacore,
We understand you're experiencing sound issues with your Oakley Meta Vanguard glasses, and we know how important audio can be, especially when you're traveling or relying on your glasses to stay connected. Let's walk through a few steps together to help get things working again.
Check Volume Settings
- Touchpad Controls: Swipe forward on the touchpad (located on the right temple) to increase the volume, and swipe backward to decrease it.
- Phone Volume: Make sure the volume on your paired phone or device is turned up and not muted.
- Meta AI App Settings: Open the Meta AI app, go to Settings > System Alerts > System Sounds, and check the volume level for notifications.
Confirm Bluetooth Connection
- Bluetooth Menu: In your phone’s Bluetooth settings, ensure your glasses (listed as “Ray-Ban Meta Smart Glasses” or similar) are connected.
- Toggle Bluetooth: Try turning Bluetooth off and back on again on your phone.
- Open the Arms: If the arms of the glasses are closed, audio streaming will pause. Reopening them should automatically reconnect the audio via Bluetooth.
Since you've already tried re-pairing and factory resets without success, the issue may be related to a firmware bug or a specific phone setting. If this started after a recent update, we recommend submitting a bug report so our engineering team can investigate further.
We're here if you have any other questions.
