promo code

I was sent a email last week for a $100 off meta glasses but it never worked because i clicked on it immediately. When i contacted customer service they told me it was sent in error but i think i should still get some type of discount at least...

    the $100-off code decided me to bite the bullet

    If you made any purchase expecting to get a $100 promotion code that wasn't honored, then you should be able to make a formal complaint through the office of fair trading, consumer affairs, or whatever your country's equivalent is. More here.

    Same here. After much deliberation, the $100-off code decided me to bite the bullet and buy a Quest 3. I got the "promo code not longer valid" message even though it said until Dec31. Further digging shows "try it again. If it does not work for you, you're not eligible", "some codes sent it error".  No apology for the inconvenience. Bad experience. I agree, after such a mistake, an apology and compensation for the inconvenience would be nice.
